COVID-19 Update: Safety Protocols and Growing Staff
At Demarrt, the health of our community is central to what we do. We’re committed to
addressing our clients’ needs with continued excellence during this unprecedented time. We
realize we’re not just cleaning for our clients, but also for your employees and for those you
serve within your building’s walls.
The safety and wellbeing of our Demarrt employees and their family members is of the utmost
importance, and in the wake of COVID-19, we are taking extra measures and precautions (in
addition to our already-rigorous standards) by reinforcing the importance of keeping workspaces
clean, safe, and healthy. Our experience and training in serving healthcare spaces affords us
the ability to promote safe practices for infection prevention within all the businesses we serve.
Aligned with the CDC recommendations, we have undertaken preventative protocols for all
types of illnesses, including COVID-19, through the following measures:
- Providing additional training and emphasis on hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette for all employees
- Emphasizing the routine performance of environmental cleaning, especially focused on high-touch surfaces
- Encouraging sick employees to stay home as well as stressing healthy employees should separate themselves and avoid contact with people who are sick
- Advising employees to take safe travel measures-Instructing employees who are well but have a family member with COVID-19 to notify their supervisor and other employees in the workplace
- Requiring employees to take extra measures when working in environments with confirmed cases of COVID-19 by using EPA-registered, healthcare-grade disinfectant, and wearing personal protective equipment
